UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez went under the knife yesterday to repair his shoulder. Velasquez was suffering from a torn labrum on his left shoulder.
“My shoulder surgery yesterday went well. Can’t wait to be back at it!” Velasquez wrote on his Instagram account.
The surgery is expected to set him back roughly three months so a return to the Octagon could take place in mid-2014 if all goes well with recovery.
