Chael Sonnen made a bold prediction about the upcoming UFC Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson during a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” chat.
Sonnen, who took part in the A.M.A. chat this week, predicted that the Bones-Rumble fight will not happen at all.
“[Jon Jones] vs. [Anthony Johnson] won’t happen,” said Sonnen in response to a fan who asked if he felt Jones would lose to Johnson.
“Won’t happen, mark my words,” Sonnen added when asked a similar question later on in the chat.
For now, the Jones-Johnson title fight is scheduled to happen at UFC 187 on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
