Known as one of the best talkers in the pro wrestling profession, CM Punk recently spoke with MMA Junkie about how he plans to approach the promotional side of his new fighting career.
“I feel my fight already sells itself,” said Punk about his upcoming UFC debut, which he expects to happen in December or January. “There’s a curiosity factor, but I don’t think I’ll be that guy that manufactures some kind of phony beef to try to sell a fight.”
Punk concluded by saying if he is involved in a grudge match situation and he legitimately dislikes his opponent, then, “it’s on.”
“If I fight somebody I generally dislike, then it’s on.”
