At the UFC “Go Big” launch event on Friday, UFC announced their schedule through the end of 2015, and CM Punk’s name was never mentioned.
UFC announced the main event and co-main events for most events through the end of 2015, and while Punk had originally noted that he was shooting for December as his goal for a UFC debut, it looks like it won’t be happening until 2016.
There had been talk since Punk signed with the UFC that his debut could take place at the end of the year, but could also possibly be held off until the first-half of 2016, and after UFC’s “Go Big” event on Friday, it looks like the latter is more likely.
