As it turns out, the reports that surfaced last week regarding MMA legend Anderson Silva testing positive in an additional drug test for his UFC 183 bout with Nick Diaz, who himself popped hot for marijuana, were in fact correct.
Prior to the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) hearing, which included the expected punishments for Silva, Diaz and Hector Lombard, who also tested positive for his most recent fight, it was officially announced that “The Spider” had failed his post-fight test in addition to his pre-fight, out-of-competition test.
