UFC Interim Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor spoke with TMZ at LAX on Monday and had some candid comments for Donald Trump, as well as some words of encouragement for Ronda Rousey.
“Very tough fight,” McGregor said of the UFC 193 main event. “Holly fought a great fight. I have much respect. This is the fight business. These things happen. Ronda will be back. True champions come back. And congratulations to Holly, the new champion.”
Trump, a Republican running for President of the United States, had a different reaction to the Rosuey-Holm fight, as after the fight he stated he was “glad to see Ronda Rousey lost her championship fight” and was “soundly beaten” because she is “not a nice person.” To that, McGregor had one simple response.
“Donald can shut his big, fat mouth,” said McGregor. “I don’t give a f*ck about Donald Trump.”
