While fans shouldn’t get their hopes up just yet, Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is expected to make a big announcement on Wednesday afternoon.
Cyborg, the Invicta FC Featherweight Champion, is scheduled to appear on ESPN’s SportsCenter program on Wednesday at approximately 12:30pm EST.
One would assume that Cyborg, a Brazilian fighter who has never competed in the UFC and barely speaks english, would not be appearing on SportsCenter unless she had some type of significant news to deliver.
Whether or not this is an announcement related to the highly anticipated Cyborg vs. Ronda Rousey bout, or if it relates to Cyborg’s rumored lawsuit against Rousey, or if it’s just to announce her next fight, which is expected to be at 140 pounds for the first time, remains to be seen.
