In speaking with UFC.com, the official website of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC President Dana White made it clear that Jose Aldo is not a Conor McGregor fan.
White outright noted that the UFC Featherweight Champion “hates” his upcoming opponent, who he will defend his title against at UFC 189 on July 11, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Jose Aldo hates Conor McGregor and Conor McGregor just wants what Jose Aldo has,” said White to UFC.com. “If you take what Jose Aldo has accomplished and the excitement that Conor McGregor brings – it’s made this division really fun.”
White continued, “Conor has come into the UFC and basically done everything he said he was going to do. Now the question is: Can he beat Jose Aldo?”
