TMZ.com has provided an update on the hit and run car accident on Sunday in New Mexico allegedly involving UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones.
According to police, marijuana and a marijuana pipe were found inside the car that caused the hit and run accident that sent a pregnant woman to the hospital. The suspect, which witnesses believe to be Jon Jones, grabbed a “large handful of cash” from a silver Buick before fleeing the scene, jumping a fence and running away.
The incident was caused after the Buick ran a red light and slammed intoa pregnant woman’s car. She told police that she felt like she was going to pass out and was taken to a local hospital.
Police have made several unsuccessful attempts to locate Jones. He is still sought after for questioning.
