Fabricio Werdum is getting paid well by the UFC these days. According to Werdum, who is currently the UFC Heavyweight Champion, he’s signed a new “7 figure” contract with the company.
He posted the following on his Instagram account:
“I just signed a new 7 figure deal with the UFC, thank you to Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta for changing my life,” he wrote. “And thank you to my good friend and manager, Ali Abdel-Aziz, for changing my life.”
There are no more specifics about his new detail known as of press time. Werdum’s first title defense will be in a rematch with Cain Velasquez at UFC 196 in Las Vegas on Feb. 6.
