Well, we finally know Fedor Emelianenko’s opponent for his MMA comeback. Let’s just say that after finding out Fedor’s dance partner for his first fight back in over three years, the excitement level for Rizin FF’s debut event hasn’t changed one bit.
A press conference was held this week to announce Fedor’s opponent for the event, which airs on New Year’s Eve from Japan on Spike TV in North America as a special called, “Breakfast with Fedor” at 10:00am EST.
Fedor will be fighting Jaideep Singh in his long-awaited MMA comeback fight. Singh is a 2-0 fighter with both wins coming by TKO against relatively unknown opponents. He’s a 28 year old tall fighter, standing 6’6”, but weighs only 218 pounds.
Fedor vs. Singh headlines one of multiple Rizin FF events in Japan on New Year’s Eve weekend, and as noted, his fight will air on Spike TV in North America at 10am EST. on January 31st.
