Well, it appears to be on. That is, of course, if you believe the latest from Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
Boxing’s biggest draw posted on his social media accounts on Sunday evening a new, seemingly unofficial poster for a boxing match between himself and reigning UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor, claiming that the fight will air live on pay-per-view.
As previously reported, sports journalist Colin Cowherd announced that a Mayweather-McGregor boxing match on PPV would be taking place live from Las Vegas, Nevada on September 17, 2016.
In the past several years, Mayweather has fought exclusively on May and/or September.
