Boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury implied that the UFC heavyweight champion would be easy work if they were to fight, and Francis Ngannou has responded.
Francis Ngannou is fresh off the biggest win of his career after dethroning the heavyweight king Stipe Miocic in a rematch that resulted in a vicious knockout. While talks have percolated about the possibility of “The Predator” facing Jon Jones or Derrick Lewis next, the champion is never discounting any opportunity. As a man from humble beginnings, he is now determined to one day make a transition into the boxing world, and if that should happen, Ngannou wants no one other than the heavyweight champion Fury.
On Twitter, the boxing heavyweight champion insinuated that he would make it look easy against the UFC champion Ngannou if this fight ever materialized.

First, Fury is ready to get a rematch in with Anthony Joshua. Then after that, it seems the boxing champion is open to facing Ngannou in the future. Fury is coming fresh off a rematch victory to Deontay Wilder where the Englishman managed to stop the American in the seventh round.
Following this statement, the African-born striker responded on Twitter to Fury’s claims of a possible fight in the future.

Without a doubt, a fight between Francis Ngannou and the boxing heavyweight champion would be a very intriguing fight between two titans. With Ngannou reaching new heights in his career, perhaps the two could meet in a potential boxing superfight down the road. Since Ngannou has discussed wanting to become a boxing champion before he realized success in MMA, the idea might not be as farfetched as it seems right now. If the two continue their success, the pay-per-view would likely be a big hit.
