UFC has announced Holly Holm’s replacement for their upcoming pay-per-view event in December.
Holm, who pulled out of the show due to injury, will be replaced by undefeated Women’s Bantamweight prospect Ashlee Evans-Smith.
Smith will step in to fight Ultimate Fighter alum Raquel Pennington on the event, which features two title fights — Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler for the UFC Welterweight Championship and Anthony Pettis vs. Gilbert Melendez for the UFC Lightweight Championship.
UFC 181 takes place on December 6, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
