UFC announced today a battle between Welterweight contenders John Howard and Lorenz Larkin for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 59 event in Boston on January 18th.
Howard is coming off an impressive victory over Urijah Hall in his last fight in August, while Larkin is looking to get back into the win column and break a three-fight losing streak.
Also verbally agreed for the show is a Light Heavyweight bout between Matt Van Buren and Sean O’Connell.
The 1/18 card in Boston will be headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver and Benson Henderson vs. Eddie Alvarez. Also official for the show is Jorge Masvidal vs. Norman Parke and Urijah Hall vs. Costa Philippou.
UFC Fight Night 59 takes place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday, January 18, 2015, airing live on FOX Sports 1.
