Jake Paul Gives Conor McGregor A Harsh Press Conference Review

Jake Paul was watching the UFC 264 press conference and had some criticism for Conor McGregor.

The biggest Pay-Per-View of the year is just one day away and the anticipation for UFC 264 is mounting. To get fans even more excited for the trilogy matchup between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor, the UFC held a press conference with the main event fighters in Las Vegas. McGregor was in rare form, much like his old self, slinging insults at Poirier, but not everyone was entertained.

Jake Paul, who has been looking for a fight with McGregor for some time took to his Twitter to criticize McGregor and add some jabs himself.

“You can tell Conor has lost “it”. He no longer speaks from a place of authenticity & you can tell he’s trying to convince himself of his own lies,” Paul wrote. “He takes offense to everything now. He’s bathing in his own insecurity’s. When we fight I will further expose him for the fraud he is.”

It seemed that the consensus was that McGregor was trying too hard to be the person he used to be, loud, trash-talking, rude. The last time Poirier and McGregor fought it was on friendly terms but McGregor ended up TKO’d. Now he is trying to get in Poirier’s head, unsuccessfully.

Paul is a fight that would make sense for McGregor down the road. McGregor has boxing experience and has fought the best out there, Floyd Mayweather. If Paul keeps up the callouts, McGregor could eventually come to. McGregor along with being a great athlete is a great businessman. He will take the opportunities that pay big and at this time that could be a fight with Paul.

McGregor fairs better with an audience watching and his trash talk, mixed with Paul’s could be a very enjoyable experience for fans of both.

Do you think this tactic by Paul will help him get a fight with McGregor?
