Joe Rogan Posts Photo Explaining Why Rousey-Cyborg Hasn’t Happened, And May Never Will

There has been a lot of talk going around as to why the Women’s MMA “dream match” between UFC champion Ronda Rousey and Invicta FC champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino has not yet materialized. On Saturday, UFC commentator Joe Rogan posted a photo to support his claim that a Rousey-Cyborg fight is simply not a possibility.

Late Saturday afternoon, the longtime UFC broadcast member Joe Rogan took to his official Instagram page to share a photo (which you can view on page two) of former UFC Lightweight (155-pound) champion, who currently fights atop the UFC Featherweight division (145-pounds), looking like an infant standing next to the monstrous Invicta FC Featherweight champion (145-pounds.)

As everyone knows by now, both UFC President Dana White, along with the possible in-Octagon foe in this equation — Ronda Rousey — are completely unwilling to budge on their stance that if a Rousey-Cyborg fight were to come to fruition, they are completely for the idea — just as long as Justino can fight at Rousey’s weight class (135-pounds.)

According to part-time comedian, part-time podcast host, part-time actor, part-time game show host and passionate part-time UFC commentator Joe Rogan, Cyborg cutting down to 135 pounds for a potential super fight with Rousey, is simply not something that is going to happen — not in a healthy way, of course.

Rousey and White, on the other hands, are fully of the belief that if Cyborg, who popped hot on a steroid test back in 2011, would simply “get off the juice” for at least one fight, she could easily make the 135-pound maximum weight-requirement without any issues.

Accompanied by the photo (which you can view on page two) of Cyborg towering over Edgar is a caption from Joe Rogan.

“For those hopeful that Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg can get together for a fight, this photo should help put one of the issues in perspective,” wrote Rogan. “This is [Cyborg] posing with Frankie Edgar, the former UFC Men’s 155 pound champion.”
