The now former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon “Bones” Jones, has broken his silence regarding the hit-and-run incident from this past Sunday.
Bones, who was stripped of the UFC 205-pound title on Tuesday night, took to social media to offer a quick, politically-correct comment on the situation.
“Got a lot of soul searching to do,” wrote Jones. “Sorry to everyone I’ve let down.”
With Jones being suspended and stripped of his title, Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson will now headline UFC 187, which takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
