UFC President Dana White appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter to break the news that UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo is officially out of the UFC 189 main event.
As reported previously, UFC Featherweight contender Chad Mendes will now step in to fight Conor McGregor for the interim UFC Featherweight Championship.
UFC 189: McGregor vs. Mendes is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
