In addition to the Rashad Evans vs. Tim Kennedy fight being scrapped from Saturday’s UFC 205 fight card in New York City, it was announced on Friday morning that another highly-anticipated fight has been pulled from the show just over 24-hours before it is scheduled to begin.
Former TUF Champion Kelvin Gastelum was unable to make the required weight limit of 171 pounds for his scheduled welterweight bout against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at the official UFC 205 weigh-ins this morning. As a result, the Gastelum-Cerrone bout has been pulled from tomorrow night’s fight card.
