Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold is having one of the worst months of his life.
After losing the UFC 185-pound title to rival Michael Bisping via first-round knockout in the main event of UFC 199, Rockhold took to social media on Sunday to inform his fans that his father, Steve Rockhold, has passed away.
Rockhold’s brother, Matt Rockhold, posted the following on his official Instagram page, a post that Luke Rockhold ended up sharing on his own official Instagram page:
“One of my favorite pics of my Dad Steve and brothers Nate and Luke. Our smiles say it all, I love the proud look on my dads face. This is how I’ll always remember him. We lost a great man, father and friend last night. Rest in peace dad we love you.”
