Nate Diaz doesn’t appear interested in fighting anyone but Conor McGregor at the upcoming UFC 200 event in July.
During the UFC’s special launch event for International Fight Week on Friday, which included promotion for the UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Alvarez, TUF 23 Finale and UFC 200 events, Diaz’s status for the UFC’s biggest event of all-time was addressed.
Diaz, who was in attendance at the press event in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, claimed that if UFC isn’t able to put together the McGregor rematch for 7/9, he isn’t interested in fighting anyone else on the show.
UfC President Dana White noted that he simply wanted to give Nate Diaz the opportunity to remain on the UFC 200 card if he desired, but Diaz made it clear he has no desire to fight anyone but McGregor at UFC 200. According to Diaz, he is going to go on vacation if the McGregor rematch isn’t made for 7/9.
UFC 200 is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
