It looks like Nick Diaz might not be suspended for five years, and in fact, he could fight as early as next year.
Diaz’s legal team is currently in settlement talks with the Nevada Athletic Commission and one source close to the situation claims he could actually be back in the Octagon at some point in 2016.
Diaz noted on social media on Tuesday night that settlement talks with the NAC are “going well.” He also mentioned that the UFC’s law firm, Campbell & Williams, was involved in talks.
