Photos: Proof That Anderson Silva Did Not Fail UFC 183 Drug Test After All?

Maybe Anderson “The Spider” Silva wasn’t guilty of cheating in his January scrap with Nick Diaz at UFC 183 as the MMA world had previously believed.

Photos have surfaced online that show Silva with a clean drug test result from a test taken just hours before his UFC 183 showdown against the Stockton Bad Boy, which contradict a separate test that showed him testing positive for the steroid Drostanolone.

Jorge Correa of Brazilian blog Na Grade do MMA claims Silva submitted two separate urine samples on January 31, 2015, the date of the UFC 183 fight, two minutes apart from each other.

The first sample was submitted to Quest Diagnostics, while the second was sent to the Sports Medicine Research & Testing Laboratory. It was the second test that came back positive, and was then sent to the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC).

Where things get complicated, however, is that the first sample came back negative for all banned substances.

You can view full-sized photos of the actual paperwork from Anderson Silva’s UFC 183 pre-fight drug test, which claim he had no banned substances in his system, as well as comments from Silva’s representatives on these clean tests, by clicking ahead to page two …
