While there aren’t many details to divulge at this point in time, the folks at MMA Junkie are reporting that Joe Lauzon has pulled out of his scheduled UFC 180 bout with Diego Sanchez.
This continues the 2014 trend of anticipated matches falling through, and comes just one day after the news broke that the planned UFC 180 main event between Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum was scrapped due to an injury to the UFC Heavyweight Champion.
No reason was given for Lauzon’s withdrawal, and the UFC themselves have yet to confirm the reports, however for now it appears that fans who were looking forward to the Lauzon-Sanchez match will have to wait a bit longer.
