Ronda Rousey vs. Cat Zingano Set For UFC 182 Co-Main Event On January 3rd

On the latest edition of the FOX Sports 1 program “UFC Tonight,” it was reported that UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey’s next title defense is official.

The undefeated face of women’s MMA is set to make the fifth defense of her title at UFC 182, as she takes on the number one ranked contender, Cat Zingano.

Rousey, who has compiled a perfect 10-0 pro MMA record (4-0 in the UFC), all of which were finished inside the distance, will face what could be her toughest test to date in Zingano, who is also undefeated, with a 9-0 pro MMA record (2-0 in the UFC), on the January 3rd pay-per-view event.

The Rousey-Zingano bout will serve as the co-headline attraction, as one of two title fights on the evening, as Jon Jones defends his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship against undefeated contender Daniel Cormier in the main event.

UFC 182 is scheduled to take place on January 3, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Make sure to join us here at MMANews.com that evening for the best live results coverage of the event on the web!
