Shaquille O’Neal Grapples With Forrest Griffin At UFC PI (Video)

There’s no doubt that Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports. His size alone made him such a dominant presence on the basketball court throughout his career. Now retired, Shaq has ventured out into other projects. He is currently attempting to launch his own restaurant in Las Vegas, “Big Chicken.”

In fact, O’Neal currently has a web series documenting his journey into the restaurant industry, entitled “Big Chicken Shaq.” In a recent episode, Shaq heads to the UFC Performance Institute and spoke to UFC President Dana White and Hall Of Famer Forrest Griffin. Griffin, the current Vice President of Athlete Development at the UFC PI, actually got into the Octagon with Shaq.

The pair engaged in a grappling match. Shaq actually held his own against Griffin, who was likely taking it easy on the former NBA star. However, former UFC women’s strawweight title challenger Claudi Gadelha jumped into the cage and took Shaq’s back, submitting him with a rear-naked choke.
