It looks like another rematch from several years ago is out the window.
MMAFighting.com is reporting that MMA legend Tank Abbott could not pass his pre-fight physical, so a scheduled rematch years in the making between he and fellow MMA legend Dan Severn is now cancelled.
The Abbott-Severn MMA fiight was scheduled to join a grappling match between Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping, Roy Jones Jr. vs. Vyron Phillips in a boxing match and Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio in a pro wrestling match on a special pay-per-view event.
A replacement opponent for Severn is currently being sought out by the promoters of the event.
