UFC Hall Of Famer Tito Ortiz, former manager of Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino, recently claimed Ronda Rousey is ducking the Invicta FC Champion.
Ortiz held a Periscope Q&A session this week and spoke about the potential super fight.
“What’s the deal with Cyborg? The deal is Ronda doesn’t want to fight her,” said Ortiz. “That’s the deal. Plain and simple. Cris will make the weight but Ronda doesn’t want to fight. Scared.
Ortiz continued, “Ronda is such a great fighter too, it’s crazy. You’d think when you are the best in the world that you’d want to fight the best, but hey, it is what it is.”
According to Ortiz, the only reason Cyborg hasn’t made 135 pounds yet is because she hasn’t signed a contract to fight a Bantamweight bout yet.
“Cris hasen’t made the weight yet for the same reason that I haven’t made 205 pounds yet,” said Ortiz. “I usually don’t fight in a weight class until a bout’s signed and I’m going to fight.”
