Tyron Woodley Checkmates Cruz, Florian Regarding Poll On Lawler’s Next Opponent

While UFC Tonight debates who should get the next crack at UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler, Tyron Woodley tries to prove that there is no debating who is the most deserved and logical choice.

In a tweet posted by the official UFC Tonight Twitter page, the FS1 program asked the question, “Who should Robbie Lawler fight next?”

As seen in the tweet below, UFC Tonight hosts Dominick Cruz went with Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson as the guy who should get the next crack at Lawler, while Kenny Florian picked Nick Diaz.

Highly regarded UFC Welterweight contender Tyron Woodley chimed in and replied to the tweet, pointing out the obvious — “Wonderboy” already has a fight scheduled against Rory MacDonald, while Diaz is in the middle of serving a reduced suspension handed down by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, making him an impossibility to fight Lawler “next.”

Woodley wrote in his response, “Nick Diaz is suspended and Thompson is fighting Rory MacDonald.”

Sweet. Simple. To the point.

It also happens to be correct — and quite obvious.
