At the UFC 198 pay-per-view held in Curitiba, Brazil on Saturday evening, the UFC announced the first official inductee for the 2016 class of the UFC Hall Of Fame.
It was revealed during the UFC 198 pay-per-view broadcast that former PRIDE Heavyweight and UFC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will be inducted into the “Pioneer Wing” of the UFC Hall Of Fame as part of the 2016 class.
Nogueira’s induction will be part of several new UFC Hall Of Fame inductions that will take place during the UFC Hall Of Fame induction ceremony at the UFC Fan Expo event during UFC’s International Fight Week on Sunday, July 10, 2016.
