UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta is one of many fans who wasn’t satisfied with Saturday’s Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao super-fight, and he’s letting it be known.
Fertitta, much like millions of other fans, expressed his opinion on the fight, claiming it didn’t live up to his expectations.
“Ordered a steak and got a salad,” said Fertitta of the fight, which Mayweather won by way of unanimous decision this past Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Two well-known names from the boxing world, Oscar De La Hoya and Mike Tyson, shared the same sentiment.
“Sorry boxing fans,” wrote De La Hoya. Tyson, on the other hand, was a bit more specific.
“We waited five years for that …” said Tyson, who included a hash-tag that read “underwhelmed.”
