UFC loses another fight, as one of the preliminary bouts for Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 61 event has been cancelled.
The UFC Welterweight bout between TJ Waldburger and Wendell Oliveira was scratched from the scheduled lineup on Saturday morning when Waldburger fell ill.
UFC wrote the following on their official website:
“After falling ill Saturday morning, welterweight TJ Waldburger has been removed from his UFC Fight Night bout against Wendell Oliveira.
The card will proceed with 11 bouts, and both Waldburger and Oliveira will receive their show money.”
