On Sunday evening in Las Vegas, Nevada, UFC presented their UFC Fight Night 88 event live on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
UFC Fight Night 88 featured an intriguing match between undefeated rising contenders Thomas Almeida and Cody Garbrandt in the main event, along with a supporting undercard that UFC President Dana White called the “sleeper card of the year” for 2016.
In the main event of the evening, Cody Garbrandt looked incredibly impressive in dominating previously undefeated Thomas Almeida en route to a first round knockout. The co-main event of the evening saw Jeremy Stephens hand Renan Barao a loss via unanimous decision after three rounds of an epic battle.
