Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Augusto Sakai was just as advertised.
The two fighters met in a bout on Saturday night (June 5, 2021) at the UFC Vegas 28 event from Las Vegas, Nevada at the UFC Apex facility.
The end came in the first round as Rozenstruik clipped him with a big left hook then a right hand that dropped Sakai. Rozenstruik finished him on the ground.

Rozenstruik was unbeaten with a 10-0 record coming into UFC 249 where he got knocked out in seconds by Junior Dos Santos. Before that, he competed at UFC Washington where he fought Alistair Overeem. Out of nowhere at 4:56 in the final round, Rozenstruik landed a left jab then a right hook that ended the fight. Before that, he knocked out former champion Andrei Arlovski in under a minute. This came after his stunning nine-second knockout of Allen Crowder. He rallied in his last fight when beat Ciryl Gane in February 2021 by decision.
Sakai entered his previous fight on a five fight winning streak with four of those coming under the UFC banner. These wins include a TKO win over Chase Sherman, a split decision nod against Andrei Arlovski, a KO win over Marcin Tybura in September 2019, and a decision win over Blagoy Ivanov back in May 2020.
