Former UFC veteran Ryan Jimmo died on Sunday following an alleged hit-and-run incident with another driver.
Jimmo, 34, a former UFC light heavyweight contender, was reportedly struck by a vehicle while walking back to his own car early Sunday morning in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Jimmo was rushed to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Jimmo’s aunt Sharon went on to confirm the unfortunate news with the CBC on Sunday evening.
UFC President Dana White also acknowledged the tragedy on social media, as he posted the following tweet regarding the passing of former UFC veteran Ryan Jimmo.
