According to UFC president Dana White, his company is working on a rematch between Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort.
When the idea of Silva vs. Belfort 2 was suggested to him by Joe Rogan, White replied with the following:
“I know. I don’t disagree. We’re working on it.”
Belfort and Silva last fought in 2011, where Silva won by knockout in the first round.
Silva has not fought with January when the NSAC suspended him for testing positive for steroids. Silva is currently planning to make his return to the octagon in April of 2016.
Belfort is coming off a first-round knockout win over Dan Henderson at UFC Fight Night 77.
