Video: Jon Jones Bailed Out Of Jail, Hides From Local Reporters

Just a few hours after turning himself into police custody, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones was bailed out of jail on Monday night and he was not interested in talking about it.

“Bones” Jones posted the $2,500 cash-bail that was set shortly after turning himself in and was released before 10pm, less than three hours after he was booked.

Jones allegedly ran a red light on Sunday morning, which resulted in him smashing a car driven by a pregnant woman. There was a third car involved as welll. The woman who was hit, Vanessa Sonnenberg, broke her arm in the accident.

Additionally, Jones is being accused of fleeing the scene on foot and after the fact, marijuana and a marijuana pipe was found in the rental car that he reportedly left behind. An off-duty police officer, who happens to be a UFC fan, identified Jones at the scene. Witnesses nearby claim Jones ran back to his car to grab a handful of money before ultimately running away.

Above is a local news report that has footage of Jones being released from prison and trying to avoid local reporters on the scene.

The status of Jones vs. Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 remains unknown.
