Eddie Alvarez, the former Bellator Lightweight Champion, scored a first-round TKO victory over the now former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos, to become the new UFC 155-pound champion.
The Alvarez-Dos Anjos bout served as the first title fight and the first of three main events scheduled to take place this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.
