Wanderlei Silva is slated to appear in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission for a new discipline to get a new ruling. The NSAC stated that, “They’re going to impose new discipline based on the order.” The hearing takes place on October 29th.
Silva was banned by the commission back in May for evading a drug test in connection with a planned fight against Chael Sonnen at UFC 175 in 2014.

Silva’s lawyer said Silva won’t physically be present, noting:
“I’m not going to have him show up, because our whole position is that they don’t have jurisdiction over him anyway. I’m not going to do a Nick Diaz. There’s nothing to gain.”
