It looks like Conor McGregor has made another enemy, this time in the form of 6’4”, 267-pound Irish WWE Superstar Sheamus.
Sheamus, real name Stephen Farrelly, spoke with The Irish Mirror about some of the trash talk McGregor has spewed about him in the media in the past and according to Sheamus, he could “take” McGregor in a physical sense if things ever came down to it.
Below is an excerpt from the article where Sheamus comments on his beef with “The Notorious” one.
“He was having a go at WWE in these interviews he was doing. The first couple of times I let it go but then I decided to have a bit of craic and banter with him. If someone’s going to have a crack, that’s fine. Would I take Conor McGregor? No, he’s a lot shorter than me. I don’t think we’d be allowed fight—a heavyweight and a lightweight. Would I take him [if I had to]? Absolutely. Course I would. No one could take me. No one’s better than me. I could walk over anyone.”
Conor McGregor returns to the Octagon at UFC 194 on Saturday, December 12th in Las Vegas, Nevada, as he will attempt to unify the UFC Featherweight title against linear champion Jose Aldo.
