WWE Still Thinks They Can Convince Dana White & UFC To Let Ronda Rousey Wrestle

Although UFC President Dana White has outright stated that he will not be signing off on Ronda Rousey doing any pro wrestling matches, WWE hasn’t thrown in the towel yet.

We reported a week ago that White’s comments caused shock among the WWE creative team, as they were fully under the impression that Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon would be happening at WrestleMania 32.

Other departments within WWE were under the same impression, as videos had already begun being made that involved the Rousey and Stephanie angle, and Stephanie was planning on talking about Rousey during her WWE Network podcast interview with former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho on Thursday evening.

While White has made it clear he won’t be signing off on any matches, WWE is still working under the impression that it’s a possibility, as they still have plenty of time to figure something out. The company did want to do a small angle with Rousey later this year, possibly at their “Hell In A Cell” pay-per-view, although that one is starting to look pretty doubtful.
