Zabit Magomedsharipov Calls Out Yair Rodriguez

Yair Rodriguez pulled off one of the craziest knockouts in UFC history this past weekend (Sat. November 10, 2018). “El Pantera” was down on the scorecards in the fifth round of his UFC Denver main event against “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung. However, the flashy Mexican striker was able to pull off an amazing knockout finish.

One of the most awkward elbows you’ll ever see connected on Jung’s chin, knocking him out cold. It was an insane way to end a great night of fights, and the UFC’s 25th-anniversary show. With the win, Rodriguez earns a massive victory over a former title challenger in “Korean Zombie.”

Prior to his match-up with Jung, Rodriguez had been scheduled to fight Zabit Magomedsharipov. Unfortunately, an injury prevented that from happening. He was later able to step in against Jung on short-notice for an injured Frankie Edgar. After his victory, Zabit took to Twitter to call Rodriguez out.

Zabit clearly wants to get a fight with “El Pantera” scheduled, saying the following after Rodriguez’s win:

“Will he ever call my name?? Or should I move on??”

Zabit also tagged UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby and President Dana White in the Tweet:

What do you think about Zabit calling out Rodriguez?
