It doesn’t look like a lot is going to be coming out of Chael Sonnen’s meeting with WWE executives this weekend.
Sonnen, who announced during a television appearance back in February that he was formally invited to WrestleMania 31 weekend, and that he would be attending the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony on Saturday, has reportedly changed up his schedule a bit.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sonnen will not be attending the Hall Of Fame, as he opted instead to go to a Garth Brooks concert in Sacramento, California on Saturday night, which is the night of the WWE ceremony.
Initially, Sonnen was rumored to be meeting with WWE executive Kevin Dunn about a potential television announcer job, however that no longer seems to be the case.
While anything is possible, the belief now is that Sonnen was just trying to get some promotion for himself, something he is no stranger to.
