According to WrestlingObserver.com, Sean Salmon is fine now after his devestating knockout loss to Rashad Evans at the UFC Fight Night 8 live special on Spike TV last night.
Salmon, who lost via vicious knockout from a high kick in the second round, remained unconscious for a reported seven full minutes following the bout, and was carried away on a stretcher. The live TV audience was left with the only update on his condition being from the Rashad Evans post-fight interview, where he indicated Salmon was still on the ground and not moving – unbeknownst to viewers who had no camera shot of Salmon after the initial live knockout.
Since the fight, Salmon has been sent to a local hospital and was reportedly conscious, coherent and talking normally.
