Well, it happened again.
At WSOF 22 on Saturday night, Rousimar Palhares, who has a history of holding onto dangerous submissions for too long, caught Jake Shields in a kimura, however when Shields tapped, Palhares continued cranking on the arm.
Above is video footage of the incident, which shows Palhares cranking on the arm longer than necessary, Shields punching him after the fight, and a referee struggling to hold back Shields’ team at the door of the cage.
