Will Brooks Accuses Pitbull Brothers Of Jumping & Sucker Punching Him In St. Louis

Bellator Lightweight Champion and American Top Team standout “Ill” Will Brooks has been tweeting up a storm today, making a pretty serious allegation in the process. With a bloody shirt as proof, he’s claiming that the Pitbull Brothers (Patricky and Bellator Featherweight Champion Patricio Freire), jumped and sucker punched him during some kind of Bellator fight week festivities in St. Louis, Missouri:

Brooks has never fought either of the brothers in the cage (technically, Patricky is the only one in his weight class), but they’ve gone back and forth in the media at times. Brooks and Patricio are scheduled to defend their titles this Friday night (November 6, 2015) at Bellator’s latest big “tentpole” event in St. Louis Missouri (against Marcin Held and Brooks’ sparring partner Daniel Straus, respectively). One would think that this could affect one or both fights depending on how Bellator and/or the Missouri Office of Athletics decide to deal with the situation.

UPDATE: Here’s Patricio Freire’s side of what happened as well as more from Brooks, who’s saying he has video of the incident:
