Well, it’s official the long-awaited Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Renzo Gracie rematch is officially in the books.
In the main event of the Metamoris 5 event, which took place at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California, the Sakuraba-Gracie feud saw the next chapter end in somewhat lackluster fashion, as the two competed to what was ruled as a “draw” after 20 minutes of action.
The rest of the results from the show, which featured four draws out of five matches, are as follows:
– Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Renzo Gracie ends in draw
– Rory MacDonald vs. J.T. Torres ends in draw
– Secret match: Jake Shields vs. Roberto Satoshi ends in draw
– Yuri Simoes vs. Keenan Cornelius ends in a draw
– Vinny Magalhaes vs. Matheus Diniz ends in draw
– Garry Tonon def. Zak Maxwell via submission (heel hook)
